As you should be able to tell from my colour scheme and web layout, I am not much for the flashy things. The objective here is not to draw attention to your eye, but to remove all distractions that might prevent gaining the attention of your spirit. I thought the best way to do that was with the mundane appearance, hence the bland colours, which should go well with my bland, imperfect writing. Just think, all this is done in an effort to ensure that the information provided here will receive the utmost of your undivided spiritual attention.

My family and I have by necessity been without church for several years now. Some might think that would be a bad thing, but truth be told, it has done us all a world of good to come to a full realization that we alone are responsible for the care of our own souls. Don't get me wrong, if I knew of a congregation where the participation of a saved person would be welcomed, I would gladly participate, but in these last days that appears to be a luxury that may not be afforded for most. Being Canadian we recognize that Canada has moved from once being thought of as a Christian country, through the post-Christian country era, to its present anti-Christian country status; led through it all by the visible church. It is just another sign that "the coming of the Lord draweth nigh".

Some might consider me non-denominational, but I think un-denominational or denominationless are probably better terms. The Lord reminds us in Rev 2-3 that no particular denomination has a lock on the truth, and each of them have vulnerabilities to particular corruptions. If someone wants to defend a particular denomination, this is probably the wrong place to be, but if it is salvation in Christ and/or a closer walk with Him that you are seeking, I will do my best to point you to Him.

P.S. I am one of those types who prefers not to have another man's thought rattling around all alone in my head, especially when it is in regards to my own eternity, and I would hope that those of you who visit this site would do the same. There will be a lot of information available here, but since no man is perfect, please read it all with discernment, and pick the meat off the bones.

P.P.S In case you were wondering why the topics on the home page all end with a 'y', it is not because I was trying to be a y's guy, it is to help keep in mind that though the start may be slow and shaky, the Christian will have their end with the y's.
